Today we will talk about ICICI Prudential’s Value Discovery Fund which has completed 18 years. The fund was launched on August 16, 2004. It has given returns at a CAGR of 19.7 per cent per annum. Had the same Rs 10 lakh been invested in Nifty 50, its return would have been less than this fund at a CAGR of 15.6 per cent and the amount would have been only Rs 1.3 crore.

ICICI Prudential’s Value Discovery Fund has given good returns even in SIP investments. ,If someone would have done a SIP of Rs 10,000 every month from the inception of this fund, then that amount would have now become Rs 1.2 crore, whereas he has invested only Rs 21.6 lakh during this period. That is, its return has been at the rate of 17.3 percent CAGR annually. The return of 7-year SIP has been 15.81 percent, 5-year SIP return is 18.97 and 3-year SIP has returned 27.59 percent.
